electronicAmericas is the gateway to
enter the markets of South America. It is the
electronics industry's most important event in this region.
For the 7th time, the international
electrical engineering and electronics sector presented its products, system
solutions and services at electronicAmericas with FIEE in
São Paulo, the economic centre of Brazil. The exhibition, scheduled
every two years, focuses on electronic components as well as equipment
and machines for manufacturing electronic components and assemblies.
In 2009, electronicAmericas with FIEE set a new attendee record with
53,567 visitors.
10,946 of them particularly visited electronicAmericas
. 1,100 exhibitors from over 30 countries
participated in this gathering, covering
60,000 m² of exhibition space. Among them
320 exhibitors from 21 countries who exhibited at electronicAmericas.
The event proved to be very successful for the participants: Within the
five days of the trade show, these companies generated a
sales volume of 2 billion US dollars.
With 50 speakers and 1,000 participants the
first-rate conference ABINEE TEC 2009 featured a series of lectures and discussions on the most important topics in the Brazilian market for electronics.
With 18 million inhabitants São Paulo is both the heart of the Brazilian economy and the
most
important trade fair venue for the whole of Latin America.
São Paulo has
modern trade fair grounds with corresponding infrastructure and thus satisfies
all the criteria for successful trade fair participation.
